Chateau de Rougeon Bourgogne Cote Chalonnais Blanc Ostrea 2019 bandol a rosé made from 90%The increasing value and quality of wine from the Cote Chalonnais is giving us more and more reason to pay attention. Chateau de Rougeon is more famous for their Aligote, but from the same region they also make deeply carved Chardonnay, with a clear note of acidity keeping a complex palate on schedule. Brioche, apple butter, lime juice and lemon curd. Precise and crisp, but with good weight for food pairing.
